    Isabelle F. McElwee, 75, Salix, died June 9, 2006, at Maple Winds Nursing Center,
  Portage. Born July 15, 1930, in Ligonier, daughter of the late Charles and Violet (Hull)
  Ankeny. Also preceded in death by daughter Charolet Salata, brother
  Carl Ankeny and sister Elsie Cruz. Survived by husband of 58 years, Robert McElwee;
  son Lee, married to the former Denise Yazell, Kingman, Ariz.; and daughter Karen Steen,
  Windber. Also grand-children Angie, Jeffrey, Nikkie and Jeanette, and seven
  great-grandchildren. Sister of Lora Incandella, Massanutten, Va., and Fred Ankeny,
  Florida. Isabelle was very devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She was an active
  member of Oakland UMC. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 2
  to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where
  service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Randy Bain officiating.
