    Maude M. (Reese) McGee, 90, of Patriot Manor, formerly of Acosta,
  died Sept. 15, 2000 at Somerset Hospital.  Born Aug. 25, 1910 in
  Middlecreek Township, daughter of J.C. and Grace (Singo) Reese. 
  Preceded in death by parents; husband of 56 years, Gerald H. on Jan.
  3, 1985; grandson, Jerry Gavel on Jan. 1, 1998 and sisters Bessie
  Bruner; Ella Miller and Frances DeFelice.  Survived by daughter, Emma
  Gean, wife of Stephen Gavel of Acosta; son, Robert R., married to the
  former Lois Lough, Johnstown; grandchildren, Jeff and Joe Gavel and
  Kevin and Leslie McGee and great-granddaughters Joni and Emily
  Gavel.  Member of New Life Church of the Nazarene, Boswell.  She had
  baked pies at Summit Diner, Somerset for five years.  Friends were
  received Sunday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell,
  where service will be held 10 a.m. today with the Rev. Randall S.
  Dillon officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
