  McKAY
  
    Lawrence McKay of Ligonier died May 21, 1998.  He was born Sept.
  10, 1913.   Son of the late Thomas J. and Martha C. McKay of
  Pittsburgh.  Preceded in death by daughter, Martha Misitaen, and
  grandson, Robert McKay; brothers, Thomas J. Jr., and James C. McKay
  and sister, Elizabeth Wychkoff.  Survived by wife, Elizabeth and
  these children: Lawrence Jr. and Wife, Susan Frymire, Waitsfield,
  Vt.; Thomas J. II and wife, Marjorie Gardner, Somerset; Michael and
  wife Pamela Thomas and Peter C. and wife Heidi Krieger, all of
  Ligonier; 10 grandchildren.  Lifetime member Rolling Rock Club and
  Duquesne Club.  Served in U.S. Navy in World War II as a naval
  lieutenant in South Pacific on PT boat.  Co-owner McKay Co.,
  Pittsburgh.  Member St. Michael of the Valley Episcopal Church. 
  Memorial service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael Church, Rector [sic]. 
  Private interment, St. Michael Cemetery.  Memorials to Ligonier
  Valley Library, Ligonier Valley Endowment Fund or Fort Ligonier
  Association, all of Ligonier, Pa., 15658.  Arrangements by Snyder
