McKee, M.D., 76, of Beaver, Pa., formerly of Somerset, died July 12, 1994, at the Medical Center, Beaver, Pa., after an extended illness. Born Aug. 18, 1917, in East McKeesport, Pa. Son of the late David and Mollie (Herbert) McKee. Survived by his wife of 47 years, Louise Martha McKee, and these children: one son, Dr. Wayne O. McKee Jr., Ph.D., of Cincinnati, daughter-in-law, Kathleen Burk; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dr. Patricia McKee Barber, Ph.D., and Dr. Scott Barber of North Hills and Dr. Pamela McKee Dumpe, M.D., and Dr. Kevin Dumpe of Brighton Township. Eight grandchildren. Had been a resident of Beaver since June 1994; formerly of Somerset. Retired in 1985 as a member of the surgical staff of Somerset Hospital after 11 years of service; previously of the Braddock Hospital staff. Served his residency at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. Member of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Somerset. Served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps in the European and Pacific theaters during World War II. 1935 graduate of East McKeesport High School; 1939 graduate (medical) of Grove City College; 1943 graduate (medical) of Hahnemann College in Philadelphia, Pa. Member of the AMA, Pennsylvania Medical Society, Surgical Society of West Penn and Somerset Medical Society. Member and Paul Harris Fellow of Rockwood Rotary and member of the East McKeesport VFW. Former medical director of Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate, Somerset. Former Rockwood school doctor. No public visitation. Private family service will be conducted Friday at the J.T. Anderson Jr. and Son Funeral Home, 205 College Ave., Beaver, Pa., with the Rev. Douglas Rehberg, Hebron Presbyterian Church, Penn Hills. Memorial service will be conducted at a later date in St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Somerset. Private interment in Grandview Cemetery, East McKeesport, Pa. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, 132 E. Union St., Somerset, Pa. 15501, or Somerset Hospital, 255 S. Center Ave., Somerset, Pa.
