She was born at Pocahontas, and was a daughter of the late Lewis Steinly and Suzanna (Housel) Steinly. Her husband, Thomas A. McKenzie, and a daughter, Verna McKenzie, preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pocahontas. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Naomi Lindeman and two sons, James A. McKenzie and Thomas F. McKenzie, of Frostburg; one sister, Mrs. Ada Wilhelm, and two brothers, Frank McKenzie and Robert McKenzie, all of Ohio; 21 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Durst Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Pocahontas, with Father Henry Joly officiating. Interment will be in Finzel Cemetery. Pallbearers, all grandsons, were Paul McKenzie, Bernard McKenzie, Larry McKenzie, Donald McKenzie, Clifford Caton and James Caton.
