  MCKENZIE
  
  Dallas C. McKenzie, 79, Friedens RD 2, died Oct. 21, 1987, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born March 10, 1908, in Greenville
  Township, son of George and Ellen (Lowry) McKenzie.  Preceded in
  death by parents; his wife, the former Elsie Watkins; two brothers
  and a sister.  Survived by son, Dean, Berlin.  Brother of: Leora
  Butler, Salisbury, and Desales, Meyersdale RD 4.  Retired coal miner,
  PennDOT employee and farmer.  Member of Shanksville United Methodist
  Church and the UMWA.  Family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be
  held at 2 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. Robert R. Slack officiating. 
  Interment, Walker Cemetery, Shanksville.
