McKenzie, died suddenly at her home on Route 1, Salisbury, on Sunday, March 3rd at 8:00 a.m. Mrs. McKenzie had had high blood pressure for some time, but was apparently in good health. She was preparing to go to church when death came upon her. She was born in Garrett County, Maryland, just across the line from Greenville Township, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Meese. She is survived by three daughters; Mrs. Ella Urich, Somerset; Mrs. Edna McKenzie, Frostburg; and Mrs. Clara Layton, at home; one son, Fred McKenzie of Frostburg; three sisters, Mrs. Agnes Blocher, Salisbury; Mrs. George Arnold, Frostburg, and Mrs. Harvey Knepp, Route 1, Salisbury, and a number of grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted in the Catholic Church of Frostburg on Wednesday, March 6th, at 9:00 a.m. Interment in the Church cemetery in charge of R. Reich & Son, Meyersdale morticians.
