He was born May 27, 1947 in Meyersdale, son of Grace (Baker) McKenzie, Meyersdale and the late Royal DeSales McKenzie. He was preceded in death by brother, George. He is survived by his wife, Lois Jean (Klink) McKenzie; and these children: Randy McKenzie, Meyersdale and Lori McKenzie, Berlin. Six grandchildren: Kimberly, Kamyrn, Kassidy McKenzie, Seth, Zack, Dakota Rugg. He was the brother of Delbert, Elbert, and Carl, all of Meyersdale; Ray, Berlin; Hazel McKenzie, Frostburg, MD He was a member of the Somerset Christian Fellowship Church. He was a veteran of Vietnam Era, and a member of the Berlin American Legion. Friends were received at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale. He was taken to Somerset Christian Fellowship Church to lie in State, where the funeral service was with Pastor Bill Dodson officiating. Interment Greenville Union Cemetery. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Monday he will be taken to Somerset Christian Fellowship Church to lie in state from 10 to 11 a.m. where the funeral service will be at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Bill Dodson officiating. Interment Greenville Union Cemetery.
