  Lena Elizabeth McKenzie, 93, of Thurmont, Md., died Feb. 2, 2004, at
  Citizen's Nursing Home, Frederick, Md.  Born Feb. 1, 1911, in
  Salisbury, a daughter of the late Harvey and Mary J. (Harding) Brown.
  Preceded in death by her husband, Norman E. McKenzie, Nov 26, 1961,
  five brothers, Hubert, George, Clarence, Arthur and Frank Brown and
  three sisters, Annie Weimer, Edith Johnson and Ellen Wagner.
  Survivors include one daughter, Mary E. Mitchell, Thurmont; one
  brother, Ralph Brown, Salisbury, one halfbrother, Harvey Brown Jr.,
  Salisbury; one sister, Rita of Calif.; four grandchildren and five
  great-grandchildren.  Mrs. McKenzie was of the Catholic faith.  She was
  retired from the bakery department of Giant Foods.  Friends will be
  received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Newman Funeral
  Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, Md., where services will be
  conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday.  The Rev. Douglas Kenney officiating.
  Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Frostburg, Md.
