  NELLIE McKENZIE
  
    Nellie Leona McKenzie, 78, of RD 2, Frostburg, Md., died Wednesday,
  Aug. 10, 1988, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
    Born Sept. 25, 1909, in Garrett County, she was the daughter of the
  late John Garlitz and Ella (Hemmings) Garlitz.
    She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church,
  Frostburg.
    Surviving are her husband, Thomas P. McKenzie; seven sons, Ralph
  McKenzie, David McKenzie, Regis McKenzie, Roger McKenzie and Olin
  McKenzie, all of RD 2, Frostburg, Md.; Joseph McKenzie, Zihlman; and
  Lafe McKenzie, Salisbury; four daughters, Mrs. Thelma Iser, Rawlings,
  Md.; Mrs. Martha Fadeley, Star Route, Frostburg, Md.; Mrs. Helen Resh,
  Grantsville, Md.; Mrs. Ora Keister, RD 2, Frostburg, Md.; one brother,
  Edward Garlitz, Oakland, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Ora Wiland, Avilton,
  Md.; and Mrs. Virgie McKenzie, Grantsville, Md.; 33 grandchildren,
  two step-grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville.
    Services will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's
  Catholic Church, Frostburg, Md., by Msgr. John Reinsfelder. 
  Interment in St. Ann's Cemetery, Avilton, Md.
