McKenzie, 66, of Salisbury, died Nov. 22, 1982, at home. He was born Aug. 3, 1916, in Garrett County, Md., son of the late Olen and Annie (Winters) McKenzie. He is survived by his wife, the former Mable M. Lung; three daughters: Mrs. Naomi Knopsnyder, Salisbury; Mrs. Vicki Steinrich, Meyersdale RD; and Mrs. Mary Layton, Salisbury; five sons: Bernard McKenzie, Gray; Bradley McKenzie, Salisbury RD; Conrad Tressler, Grantsville RD, Maryland; Ralph Tressler, Meyersdale; and Grant Tressler, Somerset. Also two brothers: Byard and Howard McKenzie, both of Avilton, Md.; and one sister, Mrs. Leora Brown, Avilton, Md.; 26 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was a retired bricklayer and a veteran of World War II. Friends were received at the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, where funeral services were held with the Rev. David E. Fetter officiating.
