   Robert S. McLarney, 74, Lancaster, died Sept. 17, 2006, at Lancashire Hall, Neffsville.
  Born in Tearing Run, he is the son of the late Anthony S. and Effie Palasko McLarney. He
  is the husband of Esther L. Adams McLarney with whom he was married 38 years on Sept. 6.
  Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Debi Ridilla, Boswell, and Robin
  Lynn McLarney, Centerville, Va.; son, Ricky McLarney, married to Susan, Shanksville; step
  son, John Reed, Pequea; two step-daughters, Wanda, married to Mitchell Burkholder,
  Adamstown; and Vicki Wiggins, Lancaster; 16 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and
  two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas, North Carolina; sisters, Pauline, married
  to Hank Mickiewicz, New Jersey; and Louise Ozog, California. Bob was a retired salesman
  for Armstrong Distributors, Lancaster. Earlier in life, he had worked at RCA. He was of
  the Catholic faith. Bob served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was a
  member of the Millersville/Manor VFW Post 7294 and the American Legion Post 404,
  Elizabethville. His hobbies included hunting, Woodworking and spending time with his
  grandbabies. Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Andrew T. Scheid Funeral
  Home, 320 Blue Rock Road, Route 999, Millersville, where there will be a Christian Prayer
  Service at 2 p.m. The Rev. Lawrence C. Gross officiating. Private interment will be in the
  Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster. Kindly omit flowers. Memorial remembrances can be made
