  HERBERT W. McLUCKIE
  
    Herbert W. McLuckie, 70, of Meyersdale, died Oct. 26, 1977, in
  Berlin.  Born Sept. 8, 1907 in Berlin, he was a son of the late
  Benjamin and Ruth (Miller) McLuckie.
    He was preceded in death by his first wife, former Evelyn White,
  and a son, Benjamin.
    He is survived by his second wife, former Mary Alice (Hay) Paxton
  and these children: Herbert, Robert and Ronald, also 16 grandchildren
  and 7 great grandchildren.
    He was brother of Paul, Merle and Mrs. Margaret Switzer and was a
  retired accountant of Crucible Steel of New York and Pittsburgh.
    He was a member of Meyersdale Rotary and BPOE Lodge 1951.
    Funeral services were held Friday at the Price Funeral Home with
  Rev. Ralph Mills officiating.  Interment, Berlin cemetery.
    The family suggests that expressions of sympathy take the form of
  contributions to Meyersdale public library.
