  McLUCKIE
  
    Mary Alice McLuckie, 82, of Venice, Fla., formerly of Meyersdale,
  died Sept. 4, 1996, in Port Charlotte, Fla.  Born Jan. 26, 1914, in
  Brothersvalley Township, a daughter of the late Edison M. and Anna
  Mae (Stuff) Hay.  Preceded in death by her first husband, George R.
  Paxton, and her second husband, Herbert W. McLuckie.  Survived by
  three children: Mary Ellen, wife of Joe Phillips, Wichita, Ks.;
  Edison H. Paxton, married to the former Mary Beth Gross, Fairport,
  N.Y.; and William M. Paxton, married to the former Sandra Shockey,
  Rotonda West, Fla.  Also 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a
  sister, Dr. Josephine H. Brown of Wooster, Ohio.  A retired elementary
  school teacher of the Meyersdale Area Schools.  Member of the United
  Methodist Church in Meyersdale and Venice, Fla.  Friends received
  from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale,
  where a memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, with
  Pastor Craig L. Lyman officiating.  Interment, Hays Church Cemetery.

  died Sept. 4, 1996, in Port Charlotte, Fla.  Friends received from
  noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale.  A
  Memorial Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, at the Funeral
  Home, with Pastor Craig L. Lyman officiating.  Memorials may take the
  form of contributions to the Meyersdale Public Library.
