  McMILLEN
  
  Daniel McMillen, 71, of Boswell, passed away Jan. 2, 2003 at his
  home.  He was born Feb. 7, 1931 in Rogers Mills, near Normalville, a
  son of the late Daniel and Bertha (Pritts) McMillen.  He is survived
  by his beloved friend Carolyn V. Swope, formerly of Normalville, with
  whom he resided for the last 37 years, his six step-children, Dennis
  R. Swope and his wife Tina of Mill Run, Mark Swope and his wife Ruby
  of Kantner, Debra D. Steele and friend Jim Hall of Connellsville,
  Vicki Ritenour and husband Keith of Normalville, Timothy Swope and
  his wife Tammy of Scottdale, and Loretta Layman and friend Jim
  Nicholson of Connellsville, 17 grandchildren and three
  great-grandchildren, a son Danny McMillen and his wife Pamela of
  Acme, a daughter Debbie Fufari and her husband Joe of Johnstown, and
  four grandchildren of his son and daughter, a sister Eleanor Johnson
  of Somerset and three brothers William "Bill" McMillen and his wife
  Jane of Indian Head, Robert McMillen and his wife Linda of Champion,
  and Thomas McMillen and his wife Pat of Somerset, and many nieces and
  nephews.  Daniel was a long time employee of the Kern Brothers Lumber
  Co. in Normalville.  He was a member of the Quemahoning Rod and Gun
  Club.  He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.  Family and
  friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and
  Sunday in the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home Inc., Route 711 Melcroft,
  where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, with Rev.
  Dennis Arndt officiating and Rev. Roger Forry assisting.  A committal
  service and interment will follow in the Normalville Cemetery.
