While she had been suffering from infirmities of old age yet she had been fairly well up to the end of her life. On Sunday the 9th she had been at church. On Tuesday she complained of unusual troubles and the following day life fled. Mrs. McMillen was a daughter of Joseph Miller and was born at Berlin. When she was eight years of age her father located with his family at New Centerville. When in her eighteenth year, Julia Ann was married to Reuben McMillen a young saddler, of this place. They began and ended their married life in the same home. Four children were born to them, Wallace, Albert, Russell and Elizabeth. The sons live in Nebraska, though Russell moved to the state of Utah a few years ago and Wallace lately died. The daughter has lived with the parents until now. Albert and Wallace's widow, who had been a Boucher from this county, together with her two daughters, Maud and Laura, attended the grandmother's funeral last Saturday. Dr. Speicher formerly of Salisbury but now of California and wife and two daughters being east on a visit, were also present, his wife having been a McMillen. One brother, Aaron J. Miller of Milford Township, and one sister, Mrs. Ellen Wagner, of Centerville the widow of the late J. Shockey Wagner are now the only surviving members of the Miller family.
