  McMINN
  
  Robert S. McMinn, 81, of Berlin, died Nov. 7, 2003 at his
  residence.  Born May 11, 1922 in Jefferson, Green County, he was the
  son of Earl D. and Lucinda (Minor) McMinn.  Preceded in death by his
  parents, and a brother William E. McMinn.  Survived by his wife of 56
  years the former Lenora Addleman; a daughter Marsha, married to Kent
  Dykstra, Somerset; a son Robert S. II, married to the former Laurie
  Neurnberger, Huntingdon; grandchildren Meredith, Kelsey, and Chase
  Dykstra, and Spencer and Tara McMinn.  Retired sales manager for
  Allis-Chalmers for 35 years, and former high school teacher in Wind
  Ridge High School, Greene County.  Attended Massanutten Military
  Academy, graduate of Jefferson High School, Greene County, and a
  graduate of Penn State University.  Served as a lieutenant in U.S.
  Army during World War II in the 6th armored division.  Member of Holy
  Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin; president of the Miller Memorial
  Board, Berlin; member and past president of the Berlin Lions Club;
  member of Lodge 0153 F&AM Waynesburg for 57 years; Syria Mosque,
  Pittsburgh; Somerset County Shrine Club; member of Somerset Aero Club
  and was an instrument rated pilot; member of Northwinds Senior Golf
  League, also scored 2 holes-in-one during his career.  Friends are
  invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 11 a.m.
  at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin, with Rev. Glenn P. Foster
  officiating.  Receiving of friends will follow the service in the
  fellowship hall.  Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, in charge of
  arrangements.  Memorial contributions may be sent to Holy Trinity
  Lutheran Church, 525 Main St., Berlin 15530 or Shriners Hospitals for
  Children, Attention: Donations, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, Fla.
