McNair Jr., 82, Confluence, passed away Aug. 11, 2000 in South Fayette Nursing Home, Markleysburg. Born June 15, 1918 in Somerfield, son of Joseph and Mary (Mathias) McNair. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dora McNair, three brothers, John, Harry and Charles McNair, sister Mary McNair, grandson Roy Lee Butler and great-grandson Dakota Ulderich. Survived by three daughters: Ruth Sweeney of Jessup, Md., Dorothy Glisan of Markleysburg and Pauline Ulderich of Cambridge Springs; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister Grace Brown and brother Bill McNair, both of Mt. Pleasant. Member of the VFW #7250 and local Union #1058. Friends were received in the Donald R. Crawford Funeral Home, Farmington, on Sunday and until 1 p.m. Monday, the hour of service. Rev. Weldon Peary officiating. Interment, Shady Grove Cemetery, Brandonville, W.Va. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Rodney S. Turner Funeral Home, Markleysburg, Pa.
