She is the beloved mother of Tyler James and Mackenzie Caye, and dedicated wife of John. She is the daughter of the late Blair and Luella Kimmel of Friedens, and is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and James Woodring of Reading, Pa. Debra was born on Dec. 14, 1955 in Boswell, and graduated as a diploma nurse from Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Johnstown, in 1976 and the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing in 1986. She was a dedicated medical professional who worked as a registered nurse in med./surg., IV therapy ICU, public health, nursing instruction, radiation and oncology, employee health, medical case management and risk management. Her nursing career ended at Trigon Blue Cross/Blue Shield as a case management consultant. A memorial service was held at Salem Presbyterian Church on Thursday, April 13, 2000 with interment at the SPC Columbarium and Memorial Garden.
