  CAROL (LOHR) MCNERNEY
  April 13, 1944 - April 22, 2001
  
    Carol (Lohr) McNerney, 57, of Delmont, died April 22, 2001.
    Born April 13, 1944, in Connellsville, she was the daughter of the
  late Robert L. and Anna (Bittner) Lohr.
    She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, F. Clay
  McNerney; a son, Clawell Robert McNerney, Virginia; five sisters:
  Shirley Suchocki and husband Arthur, Scottdale; Patricia
  Lohr-Williams and husband Kerry, California; Betty Chlebowski, State
  Line; Sharon Rusnak, New Kensington; and Sandra Sweitzer,
  Greencastle; and a number of nieces and nephews.
    Mrs. McNerney was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church of Delmont,
  where she was parish secretary for many years and a member of the
  church council.
    Friends were scheduled to be received at the Vaia Funeral Home
  Inc., Delmont, April 24 and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Wednesday, April 25.  The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m.
  Thursday (today), April 26, at the Salem Lutheran Church in Delmont
  with the Rev. Frederick C. Heitzenroder officiating.  The family
  suggests as an expression of sympathy, memorials for Carol McNerney
  be made to the Gilda Radner Ovarian Cancer Registry, Roswell Park
  Cancer Institute, Elm and Carlton Streets, Buffalo, NY 14263.
