  McQUADE
  
  Leon E. McQuade, 73, of Fairhope RD 1, died April 10, 1988 at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  He was born Aug. 19, 1914, in Berlin
  the son of John and Binnie (Tipton) McQuade.  Preceded in death by
  parents and a brother Guy.  Survived by his wife of 47 years the
  former Evelyn Deist; a daughter, Mrs. Dewey (Joyce) Whitt of Medina,
  Ohio; 4 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  Brother of: 
  Paul, married to the former Bertha Hall, of Fairhope RD 1, Gilbert of
  Berlin, Mrs. Myron (Mary) Landis of Berlin RD 3, Mrs. Philip (Flora)
  Lambert of Stoystown RD 3.  Retired truck driver and member of Holy
  Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin, and the teamsters union.  Family
  will received friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  formerly the Johnson - Kuhlman Funeral home where service will be held
  at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Melvin A. Kirk Jr.  Interment Mt.
  Zion Cemetery.
