  McVICKER
  
  Burl B. McVicker, 71, of Route 1, Knottsville Community, Grafton,
  W.Va., died May 23, 1988 at Monongalia Hospital.  Born July 6, 1916
  in Barbour County, son of the late Melvin P. McVicker and Ida M.
  (Maggie) Reed McVicker.  Survived by wife, Marie McDaniel McVicker,
  two daughters, Mrs. Gary (Judy) Mathias, Sterling, Va.; and Mrs.
  James (Sue) DeVincent of Morgantown, W.Va., one son, Danny R.
  McVicker of Confluence; two brothers, John M. McVicker of Georgetown,
  W.Va.; and Jack E. McVicker of Southington, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs.
  Brooks (Ruth) Wright, Grafton; Mrs. Edward (Virginia) Chevalley of
  Enon, Ohio; and Mrs. Carl (Evelyn) Kelly, Morgantown, W.Va.; six
  grandchildren.  Area manager for the Pittsburgh district of the U.S.
  Army Corps of Engineers for 35 years before retiring.  Friends may
  call at the Hoke Funeral Chapel from 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.  Funeral
  service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel, Rev. Francis
  I. Moyer.  Interment, West Virginia National Cemetery.
