  McVICKER
  
    Charles O. "Pete" McVicker, 83, Central City RD 1, went to be with
  the Lord on Aug. 17, 1995, at Windber Hospital.  Born Feb. 27, 1912,
  in Bedford County, son of Charles and Ruth (Logue) McVicker. 
  Preceded in death by parents and infant son, Charles Jr.; sisters: 
  Lula Carolus, Lillian Brown and Marie Olsen; brothers:  Harry,
  William, Walter, Warden and Robert.  Survived by his wife of 66
  years, the former Gladys Custer; daughter, Judith, married to David
  Gumbita, Springfield, Va; grandson, David A. Gumbita.  Brother of
  Mrs. Thomas (Ruby) Lease, York.  Retired coal miner.  Member of
  Central City Assembly of God, and U.M.W.A.  Family will receive
  friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Stoystown.  Viewing from 1 p.m. until service at 2 p.m. Sunday at
  Central City Assembly of God, with the Rev. Stephen C. Potutschnig
  officiating.  Interment, Horner-Mt. Tabor Cemetery.  Memorial
  contributions may be given to Central City Assembly of God.
