  SAMUEL E. McVICKER
  
    Samuel E. McVicker, 93, 712 Orchard St., Portage, died May 12,
  1982, at Memorial Hospital.  He was born May 10, 1889, in Meyersdale,
  son of John and Sara (Robb) McVicker.  He was preceded in death by
  wife, former Edna DeArmitt; daughter, Darlene Nagle; six brothers and
  six sisters.
    He is survived by these children:  Irene, wife of William
  McLaughlin, Lancaster, and Jeannette, wife of Henry Law Jr.; Nora,
  wife of Richard Cowan; and Paul, married to former Gloria Bellish,
  all of Portage; also 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 
  He was a member of Local 1318, UMWA, and Church of the Nazarene,
  Portage.  He was a veteran of World War I.
    Friends were received at Rudolph Seckinger Funeral Home, Portage. 
  Funeral services were held at Church of the Nazarene, the Rev. Burl
  Ward.  Interment, Mount Union Cemetery.
