Born Aug. 1, 1931, in New York City. A son of the late James and Elizabeth (Rumsey) McWilliams. Survived by his wife, Dorothy (Courtney) McWilliams; a daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" McWilliams of Pittsburgh; four sons: Bruce of Phoenix, Ariz., and Robert B. Jr., Bayard S. and James Paul "J.P.," all at home. Also a sister, Jean Allred of Sheridan, Wyo. Prior to retirement, he was foreman for the former Railway Maintenance Co. of Pittsburgh. He was a member of the Calvary Episcopal Church of Pittsburgh. Former vice president of Shanksville-Stonycreek PTA. Member of Flatrock Hunting Club. He was on the board of directors for Vintage (senior citizens group in Pittsburgh). Avid photographer. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Wolford-McCracken Funeral Home Inc., 144 East Main St., Ligonier. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Michael's of the Valley Church, Rector, with the Rev. James P. Simons officiating. Interment, church cemetery.
