    Violet Meekins, 96, Siemon's Lakeview Manor Estates, formerly of Central City, died
  Sept. 8, 2008. Born June 6, 1912, the daughter of William G. and Mary Jane (Husler) Meck.
  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Ernest L.; an infant child; sisters, Lula,
  Elizabeth, Hester and Clemma; brothers, Harry, Thomas, Charles, William and John.
  Survived by sons, William L. and wife, Mary, Stoystown; Ronald H. and wife, Barbara,
  Cogan Station. Also survived by six grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Member of
  the Central City Christian Church. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until time of service, 1 p.m. Thursday at Mulcahy Funeral
  Home, Central City. Randy Reynolds, pastor, officiating. Committal Daley Cemetery.
