  MRS. JOHN M. MEESE
  
    Mrs. Annie A. Meese, 96, of Salisbury, died July 20, 1974, in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born in Greenville Township, Nov. 25,
  1877, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Catherine (Lowry)
  Baer.  Her husband, John M. Meese, preceded her in death.
    Mrs. Meese was a member of Greenville Lutheran Church.
    Surviving are a son, John D. Lowry, Salisbury; two daughters, Mrs.
  Effie Wright, Cumberland; and Mrs. Myrtle Deal, Salisbury; seven
  grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and four
  great-great-grandchildren.
    Funeral service was held Monday afternoon in Thomas Funeral Home,
  Salisbury, with Rev. David E. Fetter officiating.  Interment in
  Greenville Cemetery.
