Mehok, 90, Windber, died Oct. 25, 2006, at Regional Hospice at Windber. Born Feb. 25, 1916, in Windber, daughter of the late Curtis and Shiloh (Wirick) Manges. Also preceded in death by brothers, George, Joseph and Donald Manges, and an infant twin brother. Survived by husband Julius, and daughters Patricia, wife of Alferd Brockman, Land-O-Lakes, Fla.; Gloria, wife of Edward Stokpo, Windber; Margaret, wife of Paul Nemitz, St. Petersburg, Fla.; and Judie, wife of John Lucas, Windber; grandchildren, JoAnn, wife of Paul Whitaker, and Edward Stopko Jr., married to the former Diana Penrod, both of Windber; Virginia (Sendek) Wenzel, Zanesville, Ohio; and George Sendek, Brooksville, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Kelly, wife of Robert Ashbrook, Amy, wife of Nathan Bafile, and Baby Noah, Robert E. Moore and Justin Stopko, all of Windber, and Heath and Devann Wenzel, Ohio. Sister of Hazel, wife of Elmer Radabaugh, Ocala, Fla.; Jack, married to the former Mary Pavilson, Bradenton; and Harold, married to the former Arlene Weyant, Windber. Sister-in-law to Florence Manges, Windber; Betty Manges, Ohio; Louis and Dee Mehok, Richland Township; Verna Lapinsky, Windber; and John Mehok, Rockville, Md. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Twila was a former employee of Bestform Foundations and a member of ILGWU. Member of Rummel Church of the Brethren. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Meek and Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber. A service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Rummel Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Ruby Mader, pastor, officiating. Interment Rummel cemetery. Memorials may be made to Regional Hospice at Windber in memory of Twila.
