Melegari, 83, of Rockwood, died March 21, 2003 in JFK Medical Center, Atlantis, Fla. He was born March 25, 1919 at Elizabeth Township, Allegheny County, son of the late Isaac and Carolina Chiari Melegari. Preceded in death by his parents and wife of 51 years Virginia Wallner Melegari, six brothers and a sister. Survived by two daughters: Miss Kit Melegari of North Huntingdon and Mrs. Michael (Joy) Bryson of West Palm Beach, Fla.; two grandsons: Andrew and Sean Bryson both of West Palm Beach, Fla.; brother, Dave Melegari of Elizabeth Township and special friend Geraldine Walker of Somerset. Frank was a retired PGA golf pro and was employed at Pleasant Valley Country Club Connellsville and Frank retired from Middlecreek Golf Course, Somerset County. A veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Army. He was a member of Emerson VFW and West Palm Beach Moose Club. He also attended Wesley Chapel Methodist Church, Markleton. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home Inc., 106 E. Independence Street, Perryopolis, and until 11 a.m. Friday, the hour of service. Rev.
