  HARVEY L. MELLINGER
  
    Harvey Leroy Mellinger, 83, of Swanton RD 2, Md., died Saturday,
  June 26, 1982 at Garrett County Memorial Hospital in Oakland.
    Mr. Mellinger was born Feb. 8, 1899 in Grantsville.
    Surviving are three daughters, Wilda B. Fazzalore, McCoole, Md.;
  Pauline King, Deer Park, Md.; Mrs. Wanda Zimmerman, Swanton, Md.; one
  brother, John Mellinger, Oakland, Md.; six grandchildren, nine
  great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
    Mr. Mellinger was a retired farmer and coal miner, a member of the
  UMWA, Garrett County Farm Bureau and the Woodsmen of the World.
    Friends were received at Durst Funeral Home, Oakland, Md.; where
  services were conducted in St. John's Lutheran Church with the Rev.
  David Rockwood, the Rev. Gail Hixon and the Rev. Roger Zimmerman
  officiating.  Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery, North Glade.
