  HELEN MELLON
  
    Heln [sic] Mellon, 74, formerly of Short Gap, W.Va., died November
  12, 1982 at Frostburg Community Hospital, Maryland.  She had been a
  patient at the Goodwill Mennonite Nursing Home in Grantsville,
  Maryland for a number of years.
    Born in Purgitsville, W.Va., she was raised by foster parents, the
  late Mr. and Mrs. Allen Everstine of Short Gap.
    Surviving is a foster sister, Miss Ruth Everstine, also a patient
  at the Goodwill Mennonite Home.
    Friends were received at the Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary
  where services were held with the Rev. Elvin Summers, pastor of Pinto
  Mennonite Church officiating.  Interment was in the Fort Ashby, W.Va.,
  cemetery.
