  Freda E. Menego, 97, Somerset, died June 28, 2005, at Somerset Hospital. Born
  Oct. 21, 1907, in Summit Township, she is the daughter of the late Henry and
  Rebecca (Meyers) Brown. Also preceded in death by husband, Frank W. Menego and
  sisters: Orpha Lintz, Esther Mankamyer and Ruth Robley. Survived by
  stepdaughter, Matilda Goldbach, Pittsburgh; brother, Karl Brown, Somerset, and
  sister Ada Spahr, York. Also a number of nieces and nephews. Member of First
  United Methodist Church and a graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing as a
  registered nurse. Friends received from 1 p.m. Friday until the time of service
  at 2 p.m. in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home. The Rev. Patricia Nelson
  officiating. Interment in Jefferson Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers,
  contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 149 W. Patriot St.,
  Somerset, PA 15501.
