  IDA B. MENGES
  
    Mrs. Ida B. Menges, 610 Washington Street, Berlin, died April 26,
  1979, in the Windber Hospital.  Born in Somerset County, she was a
  daughter of the late Rufus and Mary (Manges) Lape.
    She was preceded in death by husband, Benjamin F. Menges, who died
  in 1971, also by three sisters.
    She is survived by one son, Richard E., Manns Choice RD 1; also by
  two grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
    Mrs. Menges ran a retail bakery from her home in Berlin for a
  number of years.  She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and St.
  John's Lutheran Church of Berlin.
    Friends were received in the Mickel-Geisel Funeral Home,
  Schellsburg, where services were held with the Rev. Donald R. Evans
  officiating.  Interment, Schellsburg Cemetery.
