Menges, 98, of 601 Broadway St., Berlin, wife of the late Dr. H. W. Menges, died April 25, 1978, at the Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born June 13, 1879, in Brothersvalley Township, she was a daughter of the late Israel and Eliza (Brant) Cober. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Lancia of Mobile, Ala.; and Mary E., at home; also two grandsons, Robert Lancia of Lincoln, Ill.; and Richard Lancia of Greenfield, Mass.; one great-grandson, Neil Menges Lancia; also several nieces and nephews. She was the oldest member of the First Brethren Church in Berlin where she was a deaconess, member of the Women's Missionary Society and Golden Age Class. She was also a member of the Pius Springs Women's Club, Lady Berlin Rebekah Lodge, and Berlin Senior Citizens. Services were held Friday at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home with the Rev.
