THOMAS MENGES

  Thomas Menges, 84, died at his home in Berlin Saturday morning, December 22.  
He was born in Fairhope Twp., April 7, 1861.  His wife, Elizabeth (Coleman) 
Menges, passed away about two years ago.  Surviving are three children: Mrs. 
Annie Thomas of Berlin, who tenderly cared for her father during his declining 
years; Benjamin F. Menges, Berlin, and W. T. Menges of Maryland; also a brother, 
J. W. Menges of Brothersvalley Twp.  Funeral services were held at his late home 
on Monday at 2 p.m., Rev. Robert S. Nagle, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, of 
which Mr. Menges was a member, officiating.  Interment in I.O.O.F. Cemetery 
under direction of Johnson & Son.
