  WILLIAM T. MENGES
  
    William T. Menges, 83, died Jan. 26, 1979 in the home of his son,
  John A. Menges, Grantsville RD 1, where he resided.
    Born in Fairhope, he was a son of the late Thomas A. and Sarah E.
  (Coleman) Menges.  His wife, Orpha (Opel) Menges, preceded him in
  death.  He was a member of Miller Avenue United Church of Christ,
  Akron, and a retired trucker.
    Surviving, besides his son, are one daughter, Mrs. Manetta O.
  Krause, Owings Mills, Md., three grandchildren and one
  great-grandchild.
    Friends were received in the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville where
  services were conducted by Rev. Douglas Garland.  Interment,
  Grantsville Cemetery.
    The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of
  contributions to the St. Joseph United Church of Christ Memorial Fund
  or to the Heart Fund.
