Menser, 93, of Somerset RD 7, died May 19, 1986, at the Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate. She was born July 30, 1892, in Somerset Township, a daughter of the late Jacob D. and Annie (Custer) Menser. Preceded in death by two brothers: George and Harry; four sisters: Bertha Woy, Mary Fritz, Nannie Menser and Emily Menser. Survived by a sister, Miss Margaret Menser, Somerset; nephews: Dwight G. Woy, Haverford, Pa.; Lloyd M. Woy, Salisbury, Md.; Dean R. Woy, Ligonier; Harry Menser, Sands Point, Idaho; and David Menser, Wilmington, Del.; niece, Mrs. Mary Jane Schalk, Westminster, Md. Member of Faith Lutheran Church. A retired school teacher of 40 years in the Somerset Area School District, taught primarily at Union Street School. Friends received 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home where service will be held Thursday 10 a.m., the Rev. Charles J. Hartbauer officiating. Interment, Wills Cemetery.
