  MENSER
  
  Freeman L. Menser, 85, of Somerset died Aug. 8, 1979, in Siemon
  Lakeview Manor Nursing Home.  Born Jan. 8, 1894, in Somerset
  Township, a son of Phillip and Mary (Baker) Menser.  Preceded in
  death by his wife, the former Ruth Pyle; one brother; and five
  sisters.  Survived by these children: Mrs. Keith (Dorothy) Brant,
  Richard Menser, Mrs. Leroy (Doris) Miller and Mrs. John (Lola) Weimer
  Jr., all of Somerset RD 5; Mrs. Della Shaulis of Somerset; 9
  grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.  He was a member of Grace
  United Methodist Church.  Veteran of World War I.  Friends received
  after 7 p.m. Thursday, today, in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home,
  where services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m., the Rev. Theodore
  Cole officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
