Born June 20, 1929, in Reynoldsville, Pa., daughter of the late Herbert and Pearle (Null) Rea. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cambridge Springs, and former Sunday school teacher and choir member there. She graduated from Indiana State Teachers College in 1951 and received her masters degree in Elementary Science from Edinboro College in 1966. Currently she was the sixth grade elementary teacher at Union City Elementary School. She was member of Gam-Sac-Mah Women's Club in Cambridge Springs and had served twice as club president. She was also a member of the Campus Ministery Council. Survivors include her husband, George W. Menser, son of Frank and Jean Menser. They were married on Sept. 29, 1950. Also survived by daughter, Mrs. Harold (Marnie) Repasky of Wellington Ohio; five sons: George W. II of Meyersdale; David F. of Portland, Ore.; Michael L. of Rockville, Ind.; Gregory D., of Lafeyette, La.; James H., Cambridge Springs; one sister, Miss Ila G. Rea of Waterford, Pa.; and eleven grandchildren. Friends may call at the Van Matre Funeral Home, Cambridge Springs, today (Thursday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayer services there Friday at 11 a.m. Friends will then be received at the Zepfel Funeral Home in Reynoldsville, Pa., Friday from 7-9 p.m. where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Lakelawn Memorial Cemetery in Reynoldsville.
