Menser, 73, of Somerset RD 5, died July 10, 1972, in Somerset Community Hospital. He was born in Somerset Township on July 21, 1898, a son of the late Harvey F. and Elmyra (Fritz) Menser. Preceded in death by first wife, the former Edythe Saylor, and a son, Charles. Survived by his wife, Hazel (Williams) Menser; these children: Mrs. Betty Hauger, Stoystown RD 3; Sarah, wife of Patsy Gallo, Girard, Ohio; Peggy, wife of Michael Weyant, Central City; Marilyn, wife of James Long, Olmstead Falls, Ohio; three sons: John E., Friedens; Robert L, Jacksonville, Fla.; and the Rev. Daniel W., Lawrenceville, Va.; 23 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother: Mrs. William Wilson, Johnstown; Mrs. Mae Ringler, Berlin RD; and William, Alexandria, Va. Member of Faith Lutheran Church and a charter member of Wills Grange. Member of Tri-County Pony, Horse and Mule Pulling Association. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
