Menser, 89, of West Main St. Somerset, died Feb. 3, 1975 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Mar. 11, 1885 in Brothersvalley Township, a son of the late Alexander and Mary Susan Foust Menser. Also preceded in death by his wife, the former Daryle N. Brant, a daughter, six sisters and a brother. Survived by three sons, Leroy W. and Kenneth W., both of Somerset, Warren I. of Columbus, Ind.; six grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Carrie M. Berkey of Gray. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, where he served as a deacon for many years, Somerset Lions Club, of which he was a charter member, the Junior Order of United American Mechanics and the Somerset County Master Plumbers. He was owner-operator of WE Menser Plumbing and Heating Co. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Richard Shellenberger officiating. Interment, Husband Cemetery.
