Menser, 91, of Somerset died Feb. 18, 1993, at Patriot Manor. Born Sept. 15, 1901 in Pine Hill. Son of the late Harvey and Elmira Jane (Fritz) Menser. Also preceded in death by first wife, Kathryn Berkley, and second wife, Luella Feik Brant; daughters: Dorothy, Jean and Jane; brother, Ray, and sister, Mae Ringler. Survived by these children: Herbert L. Menser, Berlin RD 3; Mrs. Charles W. (Martha) Long, Somerset; Joan Shaulis, West Palm Beach, Fla., and Donald L. Brant, Jacksonville, Fla.; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren. Brother of Mrs. Ida Wilson, Somerset. Member of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, Arlington, Va. Attended the Calvary United Methodist Church, Somerset. Veteran of World War I and a retired mechanic for the United Airlines. Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev. Jeffrey Welsh and Rev. Joseph Beer officiating.
