  MRS. WOOTTON T. MERCIER
  
    Mrs. Fannie (Shipley) Mercier, 85, of Los Angeles, Calif., died
  Nov. 4, 1973.  Born Aug. 19, 1888.  She was the daughter of John T.
  and Margaret Shipley.  She was preceded in death by her husband,
  Woolton T. Mercier, and three sons, William T., James H. and Joseph A
  Mercier.
    Surviving are three sons, Richard F. Mercier, Phoenix, Ariz.; David
  T. Mercier, Orange, Calif.; and John R., Los Angeles, with whom she
  made her home; also seven grandchildren.
    Memorial service was held Nov. 7 in the Wee Kirk o' the Heather,
  Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, Calif.  Interment in Union
  Cemetery, Meyersdale, Monday, Nov. 12.
