  MEREDITH, Sarah Elizabeth Weimer  08/27/08   Daily American
  
    Sarah Elizabeth Weimer Meredith, 83, Rock Hall,  Md., died on Aug. 24, 2008, at her
  home. Born on Nov. 22, 1924, in Somerset, she was the daughter  of the late David J. and
  Goldie (Manges) Weimer. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death  by her
  husband, William Meredith. She is survived by two sisters, Mildred W. Will, Somerset;
  and Alice K. Miller, Greensburg; and a brother, David C. Weimer, Somerset. A graduate of
  Somerset High School class of 1942 she earned a degree as a registered nurse from the
  University of Maryland School of Nursing. Mrs. Meredith was employed as a registered
  nurse with University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore and Upper Shore Community Mental
  Health Center in Chestertown, Md. She served as organist at Wesley Chapel United
  Methodist Church in Rock Hall for a number of years. A funeral service will be held at 11
  a.m. Wednesday at Wesley  Chapel United Methodist Church, Rock Hall, where friends and
  family may call one hour prior. A grave-side service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday
  at  Husband Cemetery in Somerset.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the
  Kent County Humane Society, 10720 Augustine Herman Highway, Chestertown, MD 21620 or
  the Music Department of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, PO Box 626, Rock Hall, MD
