  BEULAH MERRBACH 
  
    Beulah Blanche Merrbach, 78, of Route 1, Grantsville, Md., died
  Saturday, Oct. 15, 1993 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Cumberland, Md.
    Born May 18, 1915 in Grantsville, she was a daughter of the late
  Melvin and Arminta (Durst) Butler.  She was preceded in death by her
  husband, Theodore W. Merrbach, Feb. 21, 1992.
    Mrs. Merrbach was a homemaker and attended the Red Run Mennonite
  Church.
    She is survived by eight sons: Henry T., Francis, Oscar and Stanley
  all of Grantsville; Floyd of Garrett; Harry of Lubbock, Tx.; John of
  Frostburg, Willie of Cumberland; one daughter, Mary Catherine Savage,
  Bruceton Mills, W.Va.; three brothers: Ray Butler, Meyersdale; Fay
  Butler, Baltimore, Harold Butler, Grantsville; three sisters: JoAnn
  Resh, Salisbury; Fern Fitzpatrick, Grantsville, Florence Tharp,
  Frostburg; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.  
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville,
  where services were conducted Tuesday, the Rev. Alan Birkby
  officiating.  Interment Merrbach Cemetery.
