  NORMAN F. MERRBACH
  
    Norman F. Merrbach, 78, of Houston, Texas, died June 1, 1989.
    Born in the Meyersdale - Salisbury area, he was the son of the late
  Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Merrbach.
    He is survived by his wife, Nadine, daughter and son-in-law,
  Shirley and George Smith, Sr.; daughter Vivian Merrbach, Mt. Savage,
  Md.; sister, Leota Moon, Salisbury; and grandsons George Smith Jr.,
  Mt. Savage, Md.; and David Smith, of Cumberland, Md.
    He was a member of the Optomist Club, worked for Gulf Oil, and was
  the owner and operator of Merrbach Record Services.
    Services were held Monday, June 5, at the Heights Funeral Home
  Chapel with burial following at the Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
