  MERRBACH
  
    Viola R. Merrbach, 89, of Meyersdale, died June 15, 2002 at Beverly
  Healthcare, Meyersdale Manor.  Born Sept. 26, 1912 in Rockwood, a
  daughter of the late William H. and Mary (Miller) Landis.  Also
  preceded in death by her husband Ernest W. Merrbach, on March 22,
  1985, and four brothers, Samuel, Edison, Garman and Clyde Landis. 
  Survived by two daughters Mary Catherine, wife, of Richard Nicholson,
  Meyersdale, and Doris Jean Darner, St. Petersburg, Fla.; six
  grandchildren, Sue Ann, wife of David Lohr, and Rebecca E., wife of
  David Nicklow, all of Meyersdale, Theresa, Mark, Eric and Lori, all
  of St. Petersburg; also five great-grandchildren, Lindsey and Katie
  Lohr, Andrew, Sarah and Kayla Nicklow.  Viola was a retired employee
  of the Meyersdale Shirt Factory.  A life-long member of the
  Meyersdale Church of the Brethren for over 80 years.  An avid quilter
  and a member of the Ladies Aid Society.  Friends were received Sunday
  at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be
  conducted at 11 a.m. Monday,  Rev. Eric Shaulis officiating. 
  Interment, Reformed Cemetery, Meyersdale.
