  BERNARD M. MERRILL
  
    Bernard M. Merrill, 66, of Grantsville, Md., died Dec. 17, 1972, in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    A native of Merrill, Md., he was a son of the late John and Lillie
  (Chaney) Merrill.  He was a farmer and a member of Cherry Grove
  Church of the Brethren.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Vera Durst; three daughters,
  Mrs. Cleo Hedrick, Barberton, Ohio; Mrs. Dailey Holt, Manchester,
  Tenn.; and Mrs. Jacqueline Wilt, Grantsville; eight grandchildren,
  five great-grandchildren and two brothers, Glenn Merrill, Sykesville,
  Md.; and Delwood Merrill, Barton, Md.
    Funeral service was conducted Wednesday afternoon in Cherry Grove
  Church of the Brethren, with Rev. Earl Harper officiating.  Interment
  in Grantsville Cemetery.
