  MERRILL
  
    Charles A Merrill, 80, of Berlin, died Feb 17, 1975.  He was born
  Feb 22, 1894, in Garrett, the son of the late William A. and Alice
  (Judy) Merrill.  Preceded in death by his wife, the former Elizabeth
  Todt, 1966; a son, William A. II; two brothers, Byran and Harold; and
  a sister, Emma Sheppley.  Survived by one son, Charles A. Jr., Berlin;
  a brother, Howard of Somerset; six grandchildren; and nine
  great-grandchildren.  He was a member of the United Church of Christ,
  Garrett.  Friends will be received in the Johnson and Son Funeral
  Home, Berlin, from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, where services
  will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday.  Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F.
  Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.
