  MERRINGER
  
    Karen L. Merringer, 46, Million Dollar Highway, Stoystown RD
  (Jenner Cross Roads) died May 13, 1999 at Memorial Medical Center,
  Johnstown.  Born June 6, 1952 in Somerset, a daughter of Clark B. and
  Leona M. (Dove) Merringer.  Preceded in death by mother in 1982 and
  infant daughter Chelsea Miranda Merringer in 1989.  Survived by
  father, Jenner Cross Roads, and son Vincent Merringer, Indiana. 
  Sister Koontz, Bakersville, Dennis D. married to Elaine Shaffer,
  Boswell RD, Brenda L. Gontis, Johnstown, and Dr. Mickey R.,
  Pittsburgh.  Also survived by niece Jill Merringer and nephews Jason
  and Brett Merringer.  Two great-nieces and long-time friend John
  Gallo, Indiana.  Licensed practical nurse and graduate of the
  Somerset Hospital School of Nursing.  Friends received from 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street,
  Boswell, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Rev. Gregory
  Stauffer officiating.  Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown. 
  Memorials to the American Cancer Society, 168 West Union St.,
  Somerset, in remembrance of Karen's mother.
